Mr. Pradeep Aggarwal, group founder, is a visionary entrepreneur with a passion for the eyewear business. With extensive five decades of field experience and a keen understanding of market dynamics, he has successfully established Sunny Optics LLP and Youngstun International to become a prominent player in the optical product business. Group’s core strengths rests on a strong and well-balanced brand portfolio including iconic eyewear fashion brands such as Evan & Cara, Youngstun, Lanzo Louis and Vegas reading glasses having wholesale and retail distribution presence across nation. Vegas is one of the leading reading glasses brand in India.
Professional Journey:
Mr. Aggarwal from a family of army veteran embarked on his entrepreneurial journey at an early age of 18 in 1976, when he recognized the potential in Optical Frame manufacturing. Armed with a deep-seated commitment to quality and innovation, finding no ancillary industry in the optical frame industry as there were only a few frame manufacturers in India, he established PK Enterprises based in Delhi to manufacture precision parts of eyeglass frames like temples, nose-pads, hinges & screws and achieved leadership position in the part manufacturing. Under his astute leadership, the group swiftly gained traction, leveraging strategic partnerships, and cutting-edge technology to deliver exceptional eyewear solutions to customers nationwide. Mr. Aggarwal’s ability to anticipate market trends and adapt to changing consumer preferences has been instrumental in the sustained growth and success of the business group.

Beyond the glitz and glamour of trade shows, Mr. Aggarwal delved deep into the heart of optical manufacturing, visiting factories in countries known for their craftsmanship and precision engineering. From the sleek facilities of Italy to the sprawling complexes of China, he witnessed firsthand the meticulous processes involved in creating quality eyewear. By
forging connections with international manufacturers, Mr. Aggarwal gleaned invaluable insights into best practices that he could adapt and implement within his own company.
Yet, amidst his professional pursuits, Mr. Pradeep Aggarwal found time to indulge his other passion: cricket. As he crisscrossed the globe in pursuit of optical excellence, he also made it a point to experience the thrill of international cricket matches in diverse locales. Whether cheering on his favorite team at the hallowed grounds of Lord’s in London or soaking in the electric atmosphere of a match in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, cricket provided him with moments of joy and camaraderie that transcended cultural boundaries.
Passion to Play Cricket
Mr. Agarwal being passionate about Cricket played actively between 1972-2005 and discontinued playing cricket due to business and study commitments he was not able to play professional cricket. Later he got actively involved in various initiatives aimed at supporting Cricket and developing upcoming crocket players. Mr. Aggarwal’s journey in cricket administration began over four decades back when he recognized the need for a platform to nurture budding cricketing talent in Delhi. Fueled by his love for the sport and a desire to contribute to its growth, he established the around 1984 the Kranti Star Cricket Club, an affiliate club with the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA). World famous test player Virender Sehwag has started cricket career from the Kranti Star Cricket Club.
Mr. Pradeep Aggarwal is a distinguished figure in the realm of cricket administration and sportsmanship. He visited Pakistan, Australia, and England as a CEO of various Indian Teams during international matches, He actively worked in DDCA under the blessings and guidance of late finance minister Sh. Arun Jaitley, President DDCA. He was manager for India to Australian and Pakistani guest teams. He is a member of apex committees successfully organizing World Cup, WPL and IPL Matches at the DDCA. He is actively involved in the administration of DDCA as governing body and sports committee member and currently for last three years is a member of the Board of Directors of the DDCA. In appreciation for his contributions, Mr. Malcom Speed, CEO of ICC has personally communicated in writing his acknowledgement.
Communicating People Socially
Mr. Pradeep Aggarwal presently serving as the Vice President of the Shree Dharmik Leela Committee, a charitable cultural trust dedicated to organizing the renowned Ram Leela performances in Chandni Chowk, Delhi. With a rich cultural heritage and a deep-rooted tradition of celebrating religious festivals, the Ram Leela of Lal Kila (Red Fort) stands as a symbol of unity and community spirit. He invited legend Amitabh Bachchan to 93rd Ram Leela in 2017, which was acknowledged by Mr. Bachchan personally vide his letter dated 28.08.2017.
